All the wonderful stories and insights that I have received from wine makers and wine lovers as I have swirled, sniffed, spat and yes lots of time swallowed  my way around  wine shows, vineyards , wine & food events has inspired me to share their stories, knowledge and expertise with you.  Wine is being produced, consumed and collected more widely than ever before. Food adds a whole other dimension and there is a real love affair, and for some it could even be called an obsession with food and wine . Then again early Greek writings and Egyptian hieroglyphics show us that the appreciation for wine and food has  a long and colourful history.

Australia`s capacity to produce wines of consistent quality at good prices gives us as consumers an amazing range of choices.
